Community Conversation to Hold the Department of Homeland Security Accountable
OneAmerica, a Seattle based immigrant and civil rights organization (formerly known as Hate Free Zone), is hosting a community conversation to hold the Department of Homeland Security accountable for its abusive and inhumane treatment of immigrants through raids, detention, and the backlog of citizenship applications. The conversation will focus on the personal experiences of community members who have been affected by raids, detention, and the citizenship backlog, and on ways we can take action to hold Homeland Security accountable and make change.
