Stage Hands Local 15 (IATSE local 15) is launching a campaign for living wages, benefits and adequate training against the operating and overseeing company, First and Goal, at WAMU Theatre. WAMU Theatre, like many other recent developments in Seattle, was constructed using public money with private backing by Paul Allen's Vulcan Group. Although WAMU Theatre was built with our tax dollars there is no guarantee that theatre operators, First and Goal, will provide living wages, benefits, and adequate training to professional stage hands.
