Guatemalan Rolando López coordinates AJ'CHMOL, and is currently organizing with thousands of mostly Mayan people to protest new open-pit mining on their lands. Worldwide, indigenous & rural people are fighting transnationals' efforts to site these mines in fragile ecosystems.
