Arnetta Grable’s 20-year-old son Lamar Wayne Grable was shot point-blank six times and killed by Detroit Police officers Eugene Brown and Vicki Yost on September 21, 1996. In the face of legal and physical harassment, Arnetta doggedly pursued a wrongful death lawsuit to bring out the truth about her son’s death. A jury eventually awarded her an $8 million judgment, with which she has set up a foundation to help other people whose loved ones have been killed by police. But the officers who killed her son are still free. Please join us in supporting this committed activist in the fight to stop police murder.
