full description & details:

Comrades and friends,

The Seattle chapter of Iraq veterans Against the War (IVAW) has called for a meeting to "discuss the next steps in the anti-war movement" which will be held this Wednesday, June 18 at 4:30pm. The meeting is to be held at Seattle Central Community College in room BE1110.

As there has been talk of a new citywide anti-war coalition being formed, we in the Seattle Anti-Imperialist Committee (SAIC) are forwarding this announcement with the intent of involving the broadest possible sections of the masses in sorting out the political direction which this new coalition should take.

SAIC calls on other progressive organizations to help publicize this meeting, especially among the masses of workers, oppressed nationalities and youth--those with the greatest interest in defeating U.S. imperialist aggression.

In unity and struggle,

Seattle Anti-Imperialist Committee
