The Motherhood Manifesto
The book that hit a nerve for mothers across the nation and renewed a movement for essential rights.
Celebrate Mother's Day by joining a critical discussion of the conditions of working mothers in the U.S. today and the radical shifts needed to make parenting and the jobsite compatible. Shannon Waits, an advocate for young, low-income mothers, shares her views on this groundbreaking book by authors Joan Blades and Kristin Rowe Finkbeiner.

Begin the evening with a delicious dinner at 6:30 pm for a $7.50 donation. The meeting is at New Freeway Hall, 5018 Rainier Avenue S., Seattle. The hall is wheelchair accessible. Everyone is welcome.
